Snowflower

Shot on: Nikon D800 with Nikkor AF-S-micro, f/11, 1/1000 sec, 105 mm

What caught my eye: Instead of catching the sun, the flower caught snow. The sepal (that green bit of the flower around the petals) curled in interesting ways and caught ice crystals along its edges. Here is a close up of that bit.
