Steller Sea Lion

What caught my eye: The sea lion was just as interested in us as we were in her. I don’t think the interest was for the same reason. To us, she was an interesting and dangerous animal, fishing in Prince William Sound. I suspect she thought of us as dangerous animals that might scare lunch away.

Females are 7.5 - 9.5 feet long and weigh between 530 - 770 lbs.
