What caught my eye: From a distance, the burned trees on the mountains with snow on the ground look like hair on the surface of the mountains.

The second image is very zoomed in and reminds me of a pencil drawing. Without the context of the first image, the second kind of makes you wonder what you are looking at.

Update: When this area burned it was called the Muddy Slide Fire, after the Muddy Slide Trail. It started on June 20, 2021 probably by lightening. Most of the growth occurred in the first few days, ultimately consuming 4,093 acres. Four hundred personnel were used to limit the blaze then monitor for re-ignition. On September 14, 2021 (after 93 days) the blaze was declared contained.
