Nature’s Brocade

What caught my eye: It’s intricate, delicate, and gorgeous.

So what is it? Ice crystals that were seeded by dirt on the side of my truck.

And in case you are wondering, brocade is a heavy fabric that is highly decorated, often with gold or silver thread. The pattern is woven into the fabric but the fabric is not reversible. Here is an example.
